We represent buyers, sellers, lenders, and condo associations. We act as lender's counsel for mortgage purchases and refinancing transactions. We advise condominiums on trustee appointments, budgets, condo fees, and general condo management. We handle title clearing and title issues involving estates, missing interests, missing discharges, and title insurance claims. We are title insurance agents for several title insurance companies.
Wills and Trusts
Estate planning including the preparation and administration of wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, health care proxies, durable powers of attorney, irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs) and related instruments for smooth, efficient and economical disposition of accumulated wealth with maximum flexibility and minimal tax liability.
We advise personal representatives, executors, trustees, and other fiduciaries in the administration and settlement of estates, with particular attention to creditor protection and the needs of disabled relatives.
At clients' direction, we serve as fiduciary in estate, escrow and other confidential arrangements.
We regularly handle non-standard and non-traditional situations including same-sex couples, foreign assets, non-citizen spouses, special needs beneficiaries, inherited wealth and difficult or estranged relationships.
We advise clients on prenuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements.
