REBA’s Title Standards Committee is composed of respected real estate attorneys who are distinguished for their expertise in complex title matters. The Committee proposes amendments to existing title standards due to changes in case law and legislation, and drafts new title standards as necessary.
The Committee reviews the Land Court Guidelines, comparing them to the Title Standards and bringing the two into as much harmony as possible.
The Committee monitors developments in related areas of law such as probate, estate planning and administration, bankruptcy and corporate law, and analyzes their impact on conveyancing.
